Experience the taste of Royal Cardamom black tea steeped in tradition. The medley of warming real spices like cardamom, clove, tulsi, nutmeg, and fennel adds a delicious, satisfying kick to this naturally smooth tea from our 148-year-old Jokai Tea Estates.
Elaichi, Tulsi, Clove, Nutmeg, and Fennel
A balanced, all-round flavor with a distinct cardamom flavor that elevates the subtler notes of the other spices.
Typically gets ready in under 5 to 6 minutes.
Step 1: Take 1 tsp tea per 150 ml water.
Step 2: Boil or steep for 3-5 min.
Step 3: Add honey/ jaggery to taste.
Step 4: Just have it black, or add a small splash of milk.
Step 5: Don’t forget to have it with sweets, breads, or biscuits.
Rolled & Fermented
For our darker Royal Card Mix, we oxidize it heavily to retain its signature black color and aroma. The goal is to spread the moisture evenly on our rolling tables by twisting and pressing the leaves to extract the juices hiding within each leaf
The 5 spices blended with the tea are sourced from the choicest regions in India and are coarsely ground (not powdered) to retain their health benefits and also have a purer flavour extraction
This black tea contains an antioxidant called Theaflavin – which is widely known to improve immunity. The same antioxidant can also burn fat and functions as a potent prebiotic
