Our Classic Orthodox Tea comes from the famous P-126 clone varietal, which was originally formed in our oldest Panitola Tea Estate long ago and then was propagated to all other Upper Assam Tea estates - becoming the clone to offer the finest Assam black tea in the world.

Single-Origin Orthodox Assam Black Tea

Distinct pine-needle-shaped leaves interspersed with generous golden tips. Makes for a radiant deep amber cup that is quite aromatic.

The full-bodied cup is a bold, brisk one with a signature malty aftertaste. One can taste undertones of nutmeg and allspice in the cup and can be enjoyed with or without milk.

Step 1: Bring 200ml of water to a near-boil in a saucepan.

Step 2: Add the hot water to 1Tsp. (2g) of Tea and let it steep for 3-5 minutes.

Step 3: Strain and enjoy
